From November 2020 to January 2021 Transport North East held a consultation on their draft transport plan for the North East up to 2035. This is the SPACE for Gosforth response.

Transport for the North East are working on a new strategy Making the Right Travel Choice which aims to make it easier for local people make more sustainable journeys such as journeys on foot, by bike or using public transport. 
We have just submitted a response to the North East Combined Authority (NECA) Walking and Cycling Survey on behalf of SPACE for Gosforth. NECA leads on strategic transport for the five Tyne and Wear local authorities, Durham County Council and Northumberland County Council. The survey forms part of the stakeholder consultation to inform the NECA Cycling and Walking Strategy and Implementation Plan. 
The North East Combined Authority (NECA)* is currently consulting on its "20 year Transport Manifesto for the North East". It should take no more than 15 minutes to complete and your reply will help ensure our streets are safe and our air is cleaner for our children, friends and neighbours.
